That Time of Year

Ah, winter.  Here is means rain, rain, rain.  And wind.  And sometimes, some great light for taking pictures.  And big waves.  Oh, yeah:: here it also means the crankies.

We are sun people, and so December through February have always been rough months for us, despite our birthdays (my husband's is on the 23rd of January) and the time off he usually gets in the winter.

It is the little things that keep me going now:: the camellias are about to start blooming, the sunsets, the leafy greens in our garden boxes.
